  1. I love how perfectly concise this is. Your work has an almost anachronistic feel to it, as if it belongs a hundred or years ago when poetry was more focused on the crafting language and not this free verse stuff.

      1. I don’t mind free verse really, but I guess I’m old fashioned when it comes to poetry and prefer my rhymes and meter. It’s why I really enjoy your poems.

Didn’t mean to come off as negative or like I was brushing aside an entire genre of poetry 😛

(Had to look up caprice. Thank you for teaching me a new word :P)

      2. That’s fine really, you needn’t apologize, I know you meant no harm. I thank you for your continual support and acknowledgement Chad.
        …And you’re welcome 😀

      1. I’m sorry, I don’t mean to sound out there… But I do believe a soul can have many human lives, older with more experiences. Yours seems to be one of them… that’s why I love the way you express through poetry so much, seeing something I have missed or yet to learn.
        Have a great day 🙂
        Tara

      2. Of course not, and I did not at all intend to put you in a position where you felt prompted to explain yourself. Tara, whether I am the keeper of such a soul or not, the very fact that you see something wonderful in my words is testament that you are. You have nothing further to learn from me my dear. Have a fruitful day. 😀

        Regards,
        Osama

  3. Thank you for sharing your poems, I really enjoyed reading them. However, this 4-lined piece of poetry turned out one of my favourites: I love its rhythm and harmony, extraordinary (in a good way!) rhymes and the feeling of depression. Amazing.

  4. It is my first time here in your blog. I used to read a lot of poems and I was in love with the classics. Being led to your space made me miss my love for words written many decades ago. ^_^

This poem is so beautiful. It made me pause and think about my very own life and how it’s been like “a never ending story”, how things seemed to have been locked in a cycle of sameness. I guess that’s the power of poems and yours are surely very resounding.

I’ll be reading more of your poems (after I hit the button, probably. Hehe!)

By the way, thanks for following my blog. I greatly appreciate it.
    🙂
