As every drop upon a burdened leaf,
sojourns a moment, a moment brief,
why cans’t let not we burdens too
fall few where they once meant to.
This life is burdensome as it is,
lead not by self it far from bliss.
Please let all burdens fall my heart,
feigning joy perhaps is true art.
Beautiful words………….and meaningful as well 🙂
I thank you.
I like this. How often do you write?
How gladdened am I.
I write whenever life relieves me of living, for those are the only moments I may think, and I may be.
This. This I like quite a lot! Well written, friend!
I am glad you do, and I thank you too.
Showing happiness through torment, and I love the attention to detail in your structure.
I thank you Mr. Parr.
That last couplet sells the entire thing. Also reminds me of an All Hail the Yetti song titled “The Art of Mourning” but only because the titles are similar 😛
